Answer:

d) All of the above

Explanation:

As the tertiary sector expanded and prospered, it produced much more food than it used to before and hence, people could then take up a wide variety of jobs (eg, transporters, small shopkeepers, etc). Also, the more necessity of agricultural services such as storage, and transportation leads to the development in the tertiary sector as well.

As the agricultural/primary sector prospered, many more people could take up jobs in the secondary sector, also, many new manufacturing techniques were introduced, which gave rise to services such as housing, transportation, etc. to house people near the factories and to carry them to such places.

In recent times, the development in communication and technology has led to a very rapid increase in the growth of the tertiary sector, especially in India due to the introduction of new services such as Internet Cafe, IT, ATM Booths, Call Centers, etc, which has also led to the increase in globalisation and foreign investment, which further enables foreign companies to invest in India to provide services at cheap costs when compared to other developed countries such as the US.

Hence from the above reasons, we can infer that — growth in the primary, secondary as well as technological sectors have boosted growth in the tertiary sector
