Once there was a mason who was very hardworking. He had two sons and one daughter. As they lived in a village, it was not possible to gave sufficient money to make both ends meet. But he also wished to send his children to school so that they will not end up like him. So he decided to work more harder and provide enough for the children's education. After the death of his wife, life had become more harder for the whole family but he did not change his aim of educating his children.
After some years, through continuous hard work and at times taking loans from friends, his three children were able to finish their education. And one day, the eldest son got selected for a high ranking officer's post in a central government job. Wanting to give rest and enough comfort to his father who had been struggling for so many years, he took the whole family with him to his new job posting. The old man lived his life peacefully, but never forgetting his beginnings and the trials he had to go through for his children's sake. Hard work does bring success in the end.
