As mentioned above that he was honest it clearly describs that madhu is a man whereas in the second sentence it is given her fields had been always green. So here the gender of Madhu is changed. This is an error
Secondly use of capital letter in the middle of sentence is also an error

Fourthly HE WAS KNOWN ACROSS THE VILLAGE AS A MAN OF PRINCIPLES.
