An embarrassing event in my life

It was the time when I had just learnt driving and practised every day to be more confident. My father never believed in me and never gave his car to me. One fine day when he needed to go out and had nobody to drive him to his destination, he called me. I was quite elated and sat there confidently. However, the car stopped right after some time and the mechanic had to be called. I felt so embarrassed that I never touched his car again.
