There should not be foul smell. When the garbage is rotting, there is a foul smell but after it has been completly rotted, there is no foul smell.

So, what's written in the picture is actually correct.

harshpreetkaur93: ok thanks i was confused because my teacher says that it contain
harshpreetkaur93: foul smell
MrsBadger: It contains foul smell while rotting, but after it's completely rotted there's no smell.

If the garbage gets rotted completely it decomposes on the surface

Thus no foul smell remains in the area surrounding as it decomposes it loses its properties and merges into earth

I hope you have understood my answer

Thanks
