A while later, the man made it back to the real world, and resumed his normal life. One day, he went to a bar and ordered albatross soup, thinking back to the pleasant memories to how it saved him from the island. However, it tasted nothing like the albatross soup he had on the island. Realizing that the albatross soup from the island was the result of the cook murdering his wife, he committed suicide after realizing that he had committed cannibalism with his own wife.
