his kingdom. The enemy had a large army. Robert Bruce lost the battle because he was peace - loving

He saw a spider spinning a web. It slipped and was hanging in the air. Robert Bruce watched it closely.

He thought that the spider would certainly fall down. The spider tried to climb up. But it slipped a

give up. He tried to climb up again for the eighth time. It was successful finally. Robert Bruce learnt an

important lesson from the spider, ‘Try again till you succeed. Robert Bruce attacked the enemy with all

his strength, and won his kingdom
