There was a question in which there was a number 23562and we were asked to check the divisibility of this number by 9
So in solution they added the elements of this number 2+3+5+6+2=18
And said as the resultant sum is 18 so the number is divisible by 9
So my question was that
1) what is this method called?
2) is it limited to multiples of 9 only?​
