There are five discontinuies inside the earth. Conrad Discontinuity: Transition zone between SIAL and SIMA. Mohorovicic Discontinuity: Transition zone between the Crust and Mantle. Repiti Discontinuity: Transition zone between Outer mantle and Inner mantle.
