There were 100 marbles in a bag. The red marbles were double the number of yellow marbles. The
white marbles were 2 more in number than the red marbles. The blue marbles were 18 more than
the green marbles. The green marbles were 5 more than the yellow marbles and 7 less than the
white marbles. How may marbles of each colourwere there​

Answer:

let yellow marbles be x

red marbles be 2x

white marbles be 2x+2

green marbles= 5+x or 7-(2x+2)

blue marbles = 18+5+x

so,

  x+2x+2x+2+5+x+18+5+x=100

7x+30=100

7x = 100-30 = 70

x= 10

2x = 20

2x+2 = 22

5+x=15

18+5+x=33
