Total flowers = 108

No of flowers that bloomed:-

= 1/9 of the total flowers

= 1/9 of 108

= 1/9 × 108

= 108/9

= 12

So no of flowers that did not bloom:-

= Total flowers - Number of flowers that bloomed

= 108 - 12

= 96

Therefore,

  • 96 flowers didn't bloom and 12 flowers bloomed.
