There were 1100 apples at a fruit stall. There were 220 more apples than mangoes.(a) how many mangoes were there. (b) how many apples and mangoes altogether?

No. of apples at stall = 1100

No. of mangoes = 1100 - 220 = 880

Total fruits in together = 1100 + 880 = 1980
