Given - Number of red fish = 99% of 200 = 198

Therefore, there are 198 red fishes in the aquarium and the 2 remaining fishes are of different colour.

Let the number of red fish removed be x.

Therefore,

198 - x = 98% of (200 - x)

198 - x = 98/100*(200 - x)

19800 - 100x = 19600 - 98x

19800 - 19600 = 100x - 98x

200 = 2x

x = 100

Ans - 100 red fishes to be removed to make the percentage of red fishes 98%
