\large{\boxed{\bold{Answer:}}}

Let the age of new comer be x,

Average age of class decreased by 1 month

 = \frac{1}{12} \: years

Difference of replacement = total students in class × age decreased

 = > 24 \times \frac{1}{12} = 18 - x \\ \\ = > 2 = 18 - x \\ \\ = > x = 16 \: years

The age of the new comer is 16 years

Age decreased-1/12 years

Duff of replacement - total students*age decreased

=24*1/2
=18-x

2=18-x
X=16

Age=16 years
