There were 5000 literate in a village.35% can speak english.and 60% can speak hindi.30% speaks neither english nor hindi.how many persons speak both english and hindi

U=100% (5000 literate persons)
English=35% (1750 English speaking persons)
Hindi=60% (3000 Hindi speaking persons)
Hindi' ∪ English'=30% (1500 can speak neither English or Hindi)

20% or 250 persons can speak both languages.

The numbers add up, but not the percentages...hmmm...I'll have to give this more thought.

I have to draw a venn diagram for this, but can't quite figure it. Can someone help me?
