There were 800litre, 725 litre and 575litre.kerosine oil in three kerosene oil Drums of the house. The oil of these three drums is poured into a cuboidal pot and for this, the death of oil in drums become 7 decimeter. If the ratio of the length and breadth of the cuboidal pot is 4:3, then let us write by calculating, the length and breadth of the pot
If the depth of the cuboidal pot would be 5 dcm, then let us calculate whether 1620 litre oil can be kept or not in that pot

Given : 800litre, 725 litre and 575litre kerosine oil  poured into a cuboidal pot

depth of oil in drums become 7 decimeter

length and breadth of the cuboidal pot is 4:3

To find : length and breadth

If the depth of the cuboidal pot would be 5 dcm, then 1620 litre oil can be kept or not in that pot

Solution:

800litre, 725 litre and 575litre kerosine oil  poured into a cuboidal pot

=> total oil = 800 + 725 + 575

= 2100 litre

1000 litre  = 1 m³

= 2.1 m³

Height =   7 decimeter.  = 0.7 m

length and breadth of the cuboidal pot is 4:3

4x and 3x

(4x)(3x)0.7  = 2.1

=> x² = 1/4

=> x = 1/2

4x = 4/2 = 2

3x = 3/2 = 1.5

Length = 2m

Breadth = 1.5 m

If the depth of the cuboidal pot would be  5 decimeter.  = 0.5 m

Volume = 2 * 1.5 * 0.1  = 1.5 m³

= 1500 litre

1620   litre oil can not  be kept  in that pot
