We can learn perseverance from the Japanese. They are a hardy folk who, though beaten down by adversity, never let it stop them from getting back up. Their mere existence is courtesy of their indomitable will in the face of adversity, and that is truly worth admiring.

NerdyNutcase: Ok
NerdyNutcase: The Japanese unlike so many of their contemporaries did not exit adversity only to become brittle. They kept their traditions and simultaneously moved forwards. Their ability to bend back into shape, to not lose their essence and yet still move forwards is a truly remarkable quality.
NerdyNutcase: does this sound ok?
