There will be high percentage of nitrogen in our atmosphere greater than oxygen .....then why we take oxygen why we not take nitrogen ?

The other primary reason is that, unlike oxygen, nitrogen is very stable in the atmosphere and is not involved to a great extent in chemical reactions that occur there. Thus, over geological time, it has built up in the atmosphere to a much greater extent than oxygen

We inhale nitrogen and other gases also. But in lungs alveoli where the gasses are exchanged only O2 will be take…. because in RBC haemoglobin is present and haemoglobin can only make bond woth oxygen so instead of other gasses we can take only oxygen..
