Chloroplasts are essentially the place where the process photosynthesis takes place. Photosynthesis is the most vital life process of a plant as it is by photosynthesis that plants make their food to survive. As chloroplasts take the light energy from the sun and convert them into sugars, withouht chloroplasts, the plants would die due to lack of food.

Chloroplast is a green pigment which is present in the plant , it conduct the photosynthesis , as it helps in the capture of sunlight . sunlight is main source of photosynthesis , if there is no chloroplast , then there is no photosynthesis , and if it so happen there will be no reserve food material that helps in the cell repairing and growth , also there will be no exchange of gases , this lead to the exist of plant life as well as other living organisms life , which are depends directly or indirectly.
