1. The reaction between the metals of high reactivity { such as sodium, calcium , aluminium} with the oxides of less reactivity .

2. The thermite reaction is the reaction of metal oxide with the aluminium

Thermite reaction :-

In this reaction, basically an iron oxide reacting with aluminum powder to produce molten iron..

this reaction is used for welding of rail tracks, iron components and many stuff..

so,
