Thermosetting plastics use a resin and curative that undergo a chemical reaction to form a network. Once cured the network cannot be melted down again, and re-used or easily recycled. Thermoplastics parts are formed via injection molding above the melting point of the plastic. A thermoplastic part can be the- melted and re-used
