it is totally wrong that thermoplastic cannot be remoulded once set after heating. thermoplastic can be remoulded many times after heating.

examples of thermoplastic are :-the plastic used in waterbottle, polythene, chair etc.

thermosetting plastic as the name suggest it cannot be softened or remoulded on heating. the heat resistance power of these plastics is very high. thermosetting plastics are of two types:-

i) bakalite

ii)melamine

example of thermosetting are:-plastic which is used to make handles of frying pan, switchboard, TV remote, AC remote etc
