Thermoplastics are poor conductors of electricity. Why?​

Explanation:

Let us take a battery and bulb and form a circuit. When the switch is on then the bulb glows showing the passage of current but when a piece of thermoplastic is joined in the circuit the bulb does not glow. This shows that the thermoplastic is a poor conductor of electricity.
