Let the ages of three brothers  be A,B,C

According to question,

A + B = 4

B + C = 6

A + C = 8

From these

A - 3 yr

B - 1 yr

C - 5 yr

Hence difference of eldest brother and younger brother is 5 - 1 = 4 yr
