Answer: 1. Acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity.

Its SI unit is m/s^2. It is a vector quantity.

2. Since acceleration is the change in velocity per unit time

a = v - u/t

3. If initial and final velocities same then the body is in uniform motion and there is no change in velocity therefore the acceleration is zero.

4. 0.5 m/s^2

5. Final velocity = 25 m/s

Using the Ist equation of motion.
