These days people use Steel utensils with copper bottles this is supposed to be good for uniform heating of food explain this effect using a fact that copper is better conductor

Copper is a good conductor of heat and electricity and is very much efficient in cooking.
This is seen that the old homes did use copper utensils.
The intermolecular space in the copper is very very negligible this makes it more conductive and efficient.
