These log boats do not go very far. If the wind is helpful,they travel about 4 km in one hour.
Q1 ) How long will they take to go a distance of 10 km.

Answer:

In 1 hour the boat travels 4 km

Hence, in 2 hours the boat will travel 2 x 4 = 8 km

And in 1/2 hour the boat will travel 4/2 = 2 km

So, in 2 and a half hour the boat will travel 8 + 2 = 10 km.
