Theta and sine theta , both are the terms used in trigonometry .
Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics which is used to study the relation between sides of a right angled triangle.
Theta is the name of a symbol ,used to denote any of the other two angles of a right angled triangle.
Sine theta on the other hand tells the relation between the perpendicular ( side opposite to the angle theta) and the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle.
Sin theta = perpendicular/ hypotenuse
