Answer:

The story Sayonara is written by Anne Lindberg. Sayonara is a Japanese term which means “to let go” or in simple language term “goodbye”.   In this story the author gives a pictorial view of mother’s emotion who says goodbye to his son when he is admitted to a boarding school and now had to live without his mother. Even the mother has to survive without his son. The father wants his son to be very successful person in his life so his father thinks it’s a good decision to send his son to boarding school. But the father is in confusion about his son’s capabilities.
