heya dear

here is your answer

They are going to school.

》this is the correct sentence

because of the following reasons

1) "are and were " are most probably used beside "they"
were = past tense
are = present tense
so here as the sentence is in present continous tense we are using "are going"

2) was going

was = past tense
and aslo
was is used for singular persons.

3) goes is not used for plural persons

so the answer is "are going "
