And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
Questions: a) What similarity did the poet ſind between both the roads that
morning? What is his state of mind in the given lines?
b) What was the poet's doubt and how was it a genuine one?

Ans a) As far the poet could see both the roads were quite similar both the roads were covered with leaves ,but the other road Sam's to be more

welcoming as only few people have chosen the road .The poet was in not a good mood since he had chosen the other road which he did not wanted.

Ans b) His doubt was that which raid should he as both the roads were same and welcoming.
