This total cost has been funded by the government of Bangladesh alone. China Major Bridge Engineering Company
Ltd is doing the overall construction work. This mega' project will be completed by the end of 2019. The bridge will
contribute a lot to the economic development of Bangladesh. It will increase the GDP by as much as 1.2 percent.
