Answer:

Dharma is part of many religions that began in India. Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Hinduism believe in dharma. Dharma means law of spiritual growth for believers. In Buddhism Dhamma refers to the teachings of Buddha. His teachings taught that pain is part of our life and Desire is the root cause of pain.  He taught that by training ones mind and doing good things one can end the pain. For Buddhists Dhamma means the truth taught by Buddha. It also  includes the discourses on the fundamental principles such as four noble truths and Noble eight fold path. King Asoka's policies are also known as Dhamma.
