Thimmaraju has a plot of length 12cm and breadth 10m.It has to be fenced at four rounds of wire.If the cost of the wire is rupees 30 per meter find the cost of flencing the plot.

Area to be fenced=Perimeter of rectangular plot
                            =2(l+b)
                            =2(12x10)
                            =2x120
                            =240m
It has to be fenced with four rounds of wire.
∴Area to be fenced = 240mx4
                                = 960m
Cost of fencing plot=960m × 30
                               =28800
∴Cost of fencing the plot is 28800 rupees.
