According to Neuroscience, when we learn something new, our brains develop new patterns, connect new nerve cells making new connections. Everytime we learn something new, the overall structure of our brains change.
We are curious by nature because of our brains. Our brains always search for new patterns and engage itself to learn new things, developing new connections.
So, in order to store an information, we need to keep practicing so that our brains repeat the previously recorded patterns. As we keep practicing, the nerve connections strengthen and exist for longer time, which are teminated and get lost otherwise due to lack of repetition. So, after some time, we keep forgetting things we learned earlier unless we practice them repeatedly.
