Medieval period :

1. The medieval period or the Middle Ages are considered to have happened approximately between the 5th and the 15th century.
2. This age began with the fall of Rome. Rome was defeated by its own internal matters, unworthy rulers, administrative inabilities, barbarian invaders, etc.
3. Of many events, the rise of Islam and political division throughout Eurasia, growth in technology, art, architecture, music, military and a plague which took lives of millions.

Renaissance :

1. The Renaissance or the Renaissance period was between 14th and the 17th century.
2. It was the period of prosperity in every field throughout Europe and its close neighbors. The world witnessed polymaths like Leonardo da Vinci, Nicolaus Copernicus, etc.
3. Art took new paths in the hands of great artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Sandro Botticelli, Donatello, Titian, etc.

Baroque period :

1. The Baroque period began in the 17th century and lasted until 1800s.
2. A new form of art was developed. This included contrast, agitation, rich detail, deep colour, ostentation and amazement.
3. The churches took a great deal in the flourishing of baroque period and its artistic exhibitions.
