Everyone does not have the same skin colour. This should be actually considered diversity, however it is unfortunate that skin colour has been subjected to discrimination and racism

Explanation:

  • Diversity comprises gender, race, religious, disability, age, differences, linguistic, cultural background, and socio-economic status. Diversity includes all those differences which make us unique.
  • Moreover skin colour is physical trait that differ amongst individuals due to biological factors
  • Discrimination/Bigotry on the basis of skin colour, also called shadeism/colorism, is a type of racism or bigotry typically by individuals of the same race who view others differently from the traditional definitions assigned to skin colour, depending on its social implications. Sadly, skin color remains the most evident criteria for judging and evaluating a individual.
