Given : Hasith said "5/3+2/7 = 7/10"

To Find :  Do you agree with him?

Solution:

"5/3+2/7 = 7/10"

He added two Fraction , numerator repeatedly & denominator separately

which is wrong

only Numerators can be added directly when denominator is common

Hence

5/3  + 2/7

to have common denominator

take LCM of 3 & 7 = 21

Hence write each term as denominator 21

5/3  = 35/21

2/7  = 6/21

35/21 + 6/21

as denominator is common bow add numerators only

(35 + 6)/21

= 41/21

5/3 + 2/7  = 41/21 ≠  7/10

41 /21 = 410/210

7/10  = 147/210

410  ≠ 147

5√2-√8

√8 = √(2 * 2 * 2)  = 2√2

=  5√2- 2√2

= 3√2

using √2= 1.414

= 3 ( 1.414)

= 4.242

5√2-√8 = 4.242
