Think and answer.
a. Suppose you have bought some fish
from a store to add to your aquarium
at home, what steps would you take
to acclimatize the fish to the new
environment?
b. What would happen to a mountain
plant if the climate changes from very
cold to humid and rainy? Can you say
what would be the adaptations it would
undergo to survive in that?

Answer:

A. To begin, dip 1/2 cup of tank water from the tank and add it to the bag. Now wait 15 minutes and do it again. This slow process will allow your new pet to acclimatize to a change in pH and temperature as well as new nutrient levels, oxygen content, salinity, sounds, and lighting.

B. unlike animals plants cannot evolve quickly they take a long period of time to evolve. and for a mountain plant it is very difficult to survive the climatic change. so the flower would be dead.
