Probably because I am an Indian and we see more change and variety in language as compared to other parts of the world...but it is really fascinating..

What fascinates me is the similarities that two different languages have when they are geographically closer...at the same time some do not have them at all...

In most cases you find 90% similarity and in others you find no similarity at all...
