The three social structures that I belong to are Family, Religion, and Class.

The roles for each of these structures are given below:

• Roles- I am the daughter of a civil servant in New Delhi. I am expected to perform certainly different roles to be part of a family. As a child, I am to obey my parents and ask them for everything.
• Problem- I believe that children should be given some freedom to live their life on their terms once they become adults.
• Solution - This problem can be gradually solved by talking to family members and making them realize the importance of freedom in the present generation.

The roles, problems, and solutions of belonging to a religion are stated below:

• Roles- We all belong to one religion or another. We are expected to have faith in the system of our religion. I am to perform some rituals and prayers according to the rules.
• Problem- Some people take undue advantage of religion. They invoke people to do violence to fight for their religion. This situation is still prevalent in many parts of India.
• Solution - We need to make people aware that religion is a belief which never teaches us to fight with someone. We need mass awareness to spread peace.

The roles, problems, and solutions of belonging to a caste are stated below:

• Roles- I belong to Scheduled Caste. I am given the benefits of the reservation system. But unfortunately, all the people don't receive this opportunity.
• Problem- People still do not behave appropriately to people belonging to another and especially lower caste. The practice of the caste system is predominant in many parts of India.
• Solution - The first way to resolve this issue is to implement laws effectively and another way is to raise awareness. I can do a bit on my part by educating my family members.
