Let me give a situation where I have got a chance to prove my loyalty as well as my courage:
- I have a friend let us call him 'Mr. X'. We are very good friends since our childhood.
- Until the 10th class, we studied in the same school and then we continued our studies in different colleges but in the same city. So we used to meet regularly.
- For pursuing graduation, we joined different colleges which are 500 km apart, so we could not meet regularly but we used to call each other weekly once.
- Suddenly in the 2nd year of his B.Tech, he started to get addicted to watching movies which made his grades fall that semester and he got a backlog.
- In this situation out of my loyalty, I have advised him to stop watching movies, but he denied it and shouted at me in return and he bagged another backlog in the next sem.
- So to advise him and bring him on right track, I needed a lot of courage to talk to him about the situation because he may avoid me if he doesn't like my advice but on the other hand he is losing his career.
- Hence I got the courage to advise him to keep him on the right track even if he doesn't talk to me.
- Therefore in this situation, I felt like using both my Loyalty and Courage to help my friend.
