An ethical dilemma or paradox is a decision-making problem, which is not unambiguously reasonable nor optimal between two potential moral challenges. The ambiguity comes from the circumstance dispute where compliance can lead to another being transgressed.

Explanation:

  • I had a deep conviction, when I was a child, that it was wrong to kill animals for food. I'm not here to talk about the principle. This was what I truly believed and still believe, logical or irrational. I'm not going to say much here. I'm completely positive that eating a hamburgers made me a person who was unethical and akin to murder. I'm not going to say much, but it's something that's a side road.
  • Nonetheless, it took me almost years to give up consuming meat, although I always felt that it was wrong for all those years. I'd try to stop and drop off the driver. I felt as if I was a meat abuser. Over years, this made me feel like an horrible person.
  • It was for health reasons, not for moral ones, when I eventually became a vegan. I'm grateful that I finally overcame my addiction to meat, and I'm glad I don't contribute to the farming industry anymore.
