Dear Diary
Summer
holidays are coming to an end. It has been a very exciting holiday. There were
five important events. Two of them were
events related to me personally. Other three
were family events. I will mention them in the order they took place.
Two days
after the summer holidays started, my uncle, aunty and many other relatives
arrived at my house. It was the naming ceremony of their first child. They live
in a small village so the entire family decided to hold the event in our house.
It was great fun to meet everyone.
Next week,
was my cousin brother's wedding. So all of us went to Jabalpur. It was the
first time I travelled by train. It was a wonderful experience.
After we
returned, it was my birthday and we had a birthday party. All my friends and
neighbours came with gifts and we enjoyed playing many games.
My tenth
class results were announced after a few days. I stood first in my class and
got a good rank. So my parents were thrilled. They invited all my classmates
and we had a celebration at home.
Few days back my elder sister and her husband
moved into a new house. So we all went for the house warming ceremony. The
house looked grand with all the festoons and decorations. We had a hearty meal
and enjoyed running about in the lawn.
The
holidays were full of fun. Time passed so quickly and now it is time to go back
to school.
