I would say that democracy is a Trampoline.

Explanation:

This is basically because when you jump on a trampoline you can go to the height that you want but eventually you will end up in the ground.

In Malay (Malaysian language), they say that "sepandai pandainya tupai melompat akhirnya jatuh ke tanah juga" which basically means even though you are the brainliest, you can jump as high as you one but finally you'll  touch the ground. This shows that if a politician is corrupt and cheating the government one day the citizen will come to know. And that is the power of democracy
