Dear Rahul,

How are you ? Hope everyone in your family is fine. Well, I am sure you are taking care of your studies even there is lockdown. In our school, there's gonna be online classes from now and I think the same is for you. Honestly, I don't like these online classes, but what to do, we have to do it since studies are essential part of our life and safety should be first priority. But if we take care of ourselves and have this online study in proper manner, we can surely do much better.

You know what, now whole day I have to spend on screen of either phone or laptop, for work which makes me and I think the same case is with you. I just wanted to give you some advice as a brother to avoid these problems while online classes.

You can try getting Anti - Glare glasses for you. This protects your eyes from harmful Blue Rays of digital gadgets. I would suggest you to have a mediation of 15 mins daily in evening or early morning like closing your eyes and resting them (I don't mean by sleeping okay). This will help you to increase yor concentration and mental power. Even this will reduce your eye tension in future. Also maintain a proper distance between you and the gadget of around 50 cm. Keep care of your posture while working. It should be straight and right. Else bent posture will become a permanent habit and will cause problem in future. And yes, kindly wash your eyes properly with cold water after every use of screen. Also among all these work, take rest and sleep properly which is more essential.

I think this much tips are enough for you and rest you can know from uncle and aunty. They know much better than me and yes your teachers will also give you guidelines for it, so follow it okay.

I am just excited for this lockdown to end and situation to get proper, so that we can meet each other and enjoy our holidays. Give my regards to uncle and aunty and especially my little bro Sameer. Wishing you good luck for your exams. Hope to see you soon. Take Care.

With regards,

Yours lovingly

Rayan

Dear Rita,

How are you? I hope that you are in pink of your health. You know, that I already have spectacles and due to virtual class, the condition of my eyes are worsening day by day.

As you know due to Coronavirus, which has just tilted or flipped the world upside down, the schools in order to continue education had started virtual classes. The virtual classes at first seemed something exciting for me, but later I realised that this was no way good for my eyes. I miss those days where we used to sit in classroom, and share our tiffin during recess, participating in The merchant of Venice, remember? And sometimes, chit chat and much more, which won't happen in online classes. The teachers are unable to explain the whole concept in detail , and want schools to reopen soon. But I have a solution.

  • Take some cool fruit like cucumber.
  • Close your eyes and meditate after every class in 15 minutes break.
  • Also , put some freezed tea bags.
  • Do not expose your eyes immediately to screen. This may harm your eyes.
  • Also, try to put a pencil dot on a corner of wall and look at it for few minutes. It will help to reduce pressure and power.

Do let me know if it's useful. I think this was the only alternative for schools to run. And moreover, you know that we are going to school for Entrance exams. Meet you there! Best of Luck!

Your Friend,

Ria.
