Hence,

→ A + B = 30

now from eq. ( 1 )

→ 4B + B = 30

→ 5B = 30

→ B = 30/5

→ B = 6 years

now, put value of B in eq. ( 1 )

→ A = 4B

→ A = 4 * 6

→ A = 24 years
