Why do liquids flow but solids do not?
Explain in context to particle theory.
• How is the movement of particles in
gases different from the movement of
particles in liquids?
• Can gases be stored in a container?
please answer this my questions
I will be very thankful to you

Answer:
1 answer. solid have a strong force of attraction so the molecules of the solid are closely packed than that of the liquids. So the liquids flow but solid does not.
2 answer. As gases have very low force of attraction so inter molecular space is more so they take the shape of place in which they are going to be kept in .
3 answer. Yes , every time when we close a empty container gas is getting stored in a container. For example in a lab oxygen and nitrogen etc is stored in container.
Thank you
