Explanation:

Area of trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel sides )×height

s = 1/2(u+v)×t

s = (u+v/2) ×t --(1)

(As we know t = v-u /a )

by putting the value of t in (1)

s = u+v/2 × (v-u/a)

s = v² - u²/2a

2as = v² ‐u²

hence solved.
