This ancient rock-cut Hindu temple located in Ellora,
Maharashtra, is one of the largest of its kind. The way this
temple has been built has fascinated not only Indians but
people all over the world. Built thousands of years ago,
the structure demonstrates advanced engineering skills
well beyond its time. The temple was not constructed
but carved out of one huge boulder. The builders started
working from the top of the boulder and moved towards
the bottom, scooping out the rock to create this temple.
